Job Submits Himself to God

1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 2 I know that you can do every thing, and that no thought can be withheld from you. 3 Who is he that hides counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. 4 Hear, I beseech you, and I will speak: I will demand of you, and declare you to me. 5 I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now my eye sees you. 6 Why I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Bible Verse–Luke 9:22

Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

Bible Verse–Proverbs 3:7

Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Bible Verse–1 Corinthians 14:9

So likewise you, except you utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for you shall speak into the air.

Bible Verse–Isaiah 49:13

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy on his afflicted.
